| Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship to DeVry University |
DeVry University in Federal Way offers a scholarship of $1,000 per semester to young women who have earned an Associate’s Degree and have also earned a Girl Scout Gold Award. |
| Girl Scout Achievement Award From the American Legion Auxiliary |
American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) offers a $1,000 scholarship and a trip to the ALA National Convention. Applicants must have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, have at least Junior standing in High School, be actively involved in a religious institution, and must have received the appropriate religious emblem at the Cadette or Senior Scout level.

| The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes |
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes honors outstanding young leaders who have made a significant positive difference to people and our planet. Nominees must have been the prime mover of a service activity, and demonstrated positive spirit and high moral purpose in accomplishing their goals. Age range from 8 to 18 years old. Nominations can be made by responsible adults who have solid knowledge of a young person's heroic activities, and who are not related to the nominee. |
| Youth Hall of Fame |
The Seattle Youth Hall of Fame is open to all youth attending school in the city of Seattle, Kindergarten - 12th grade.
Honorees Will:
- Take a pledge to mentor and encourage another young person.
- Design a tile for the permanent Youth Wall of Fame.
- Be honored at a community wide celebration.

| Congressional Award |
U.S. Congress recognizes the contributions youth, ages 14 – 23, make to their community. There are three award levels, with each level involving setting personal goals in four program areas: Volunteer Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/ Exploration. Certificate or Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal –depending on amount of volunteer hours. |
| President’s Student Service Challenge Gold Award |
Recognizes youth, ages 5 – 25, who contributed at least 100 hours of service to the community. Hours must be certified by their school, college, or a community organization.
A gold pin, presidential certificate and a letter from the President. |
| William Allen Award |
This award began in 1987 and honors current Boeing employees who have made outstanding contributions to their community through volunteer actions.
They will receive a $5,000 check to present to the charitable organization of their choice, a personalized medallion and a luncheon.
