Summer Opportunity to Volunteer with Small Children (PDF)
Looking for a summer volunteer opportunity working with small children? The Little People Association Convention in SeaTac may be the answer. Volunteers are needed to help manage the children’s and infants' room, play games with kids, help with the craft table, book center, and many other fun activities.

Each year on February 22, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world celebrate World Thinking Day, a special day when girls all around the world think of each other and give thanks and appreciation to their "sister" Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

 

Peace Arch Celebration (Hands across the Border)
Make international friends on the second Sunday in June! Join the Peace Arch Celebration on the border between the United States and Canada for a flag exchange, speeches, a parade and a peace ceremony. All Girl Scout troops council-wide are invited to participate!

Looking for a different place to focus you food collection energy? The Ronald McDonald House in Seattle is looking for help keeping it's pantry stocked for families of sick children being treated at local hospitals. Fight Hunger Drive
Join us for the annual Girl Scouts – Totem Council and Newsradio 710 KIRO Fight Hunger Drive during the month of April. Troops can drop off food at their local Bartell Drugs stores, which will benefit Northwest Harvest, or at their local food bank. Click here to learn more!
